The Elizabeth Colt Legacy Foundation (ECLF) is pleased to announce a name change for the Colt Firearm that is raffled off each year at the annual Colt Collectors Association Convention. The firearm will now be known as the ''Legacy'' firearm. The ''Legacy 2008'' engraved by Denise Thirion is a .44-40/.44 Special, Colt Single Action Army Revolver with a special serial number ''Legacy2008''. It is nickel plated with one piece ivory on a birdshead grip frame. A beautiful Cherry museum-style display case with glass all around and finished with a black velvet interior will accompany the firearm. The extra cylinder will rest on a cradle. Inside the display case is a nickel Texas star medallion engraved by Michael W. Dubber.
All proceeds from the raffle of the "Legacy 2008" firearm support firearm-oriented youth groups in our country.
