The annual Colt show is a three-day long event with a new location every year to welcome members from around the globe. Previously, the convention has been in Atlanta, Houston, St. Louis, Hartford, Orange County, Dallas, Portland, San Francisco, Reston, Saint Paul, Austin, Tampa, Kansas City, and Louisville among others. The event is as much a social weekend as it is a gun show. The show features 185 trade tables, of which 40 are display tables. The convention weekend is like none you have ever experienced. First, this is an ALL COLT CONVENTION. No other brand is allowed. There will be guns at this convention that may have never been seen before, or collections that have taken a lifetime or even several generations to build. It is not unusual to see historic guns from the Civil War, guns presented by Colonel Samuel Colt, guns that date back as far as 1837, or as new as the current model year. As our convention locations change, so do the magnificent displays; allowing many of our members to display their collections. Active collectors and other convention attendees, often times, enjoy sight-seeing and shopping trips during the weekend convention period. The 2009 ConventionThe 2010 ConventionThe Future
